Embracing Nature for a Calmer, Cheaper, Healthier Life
Part gardening resource, part naturalist adventure. 100% AI-free.
I'm Dani - born and raised in Kalamazoo County, an avid naturalist, and a lifetime gardener. I've traveled extensively, but there's something about the unique natural beauty of southwest Michigan that always brings me home.
Here you'll find my gardening tips, outdoor observations, resource and idea lists, and more. Whatever pops into my head while I'm turning my backyard into a food forest or wandering around the nearest nature trail. I raise a lot of what my household eats, and I do it on just 0.2 acres of Kalamazoo suburb.
I'd say "welcome," but if you're here, we're probably already neighbors. So, hello!
What's in the newsletter?
The newsletter contains weekly observations and growing tips. It'll also have a post roundup in case you miss anything. I highly recommend if you want reminders like "hey, the lupines are blooming at Chipman" or "this would be a good week to buy your tomato plants before Wenke runs out."
Sign up here. I promise I will only send one newsletter a week.
